When Dillibe Onyeama entered Eton College in January 1965, he had just passed his fourteenth birthday and he was one of 2 black boys in the school. He spent four years there, and endured all sorts of racial taunts, put-downs and harassments.( His father was a judge in Lagos Nigeria.) Even his academic integrity and ability were questioned, he was accused of homosexual practices eventhough he was reviled by them. These 239 pages describe his emotional, educational and personal journey. (His most admired successes were in boxing and cricket.) Section of b/w photos after p. 112. Names of perpetrators have been changed to protect against liablities.The last page of his book has a remarkable conclusion about the suffering of black people.
